We had a layover of almost 20 minutes Sondrio. There wasn't really anything to do especially as I had no idea how long we would be there for, so it's not like I could get off the train and take a walk around. If I overestimated the departure time, the consequences may have been rather problematic indeed.

I was not the only one waiting, though I'm not sure what this woman would have been waiting for. Possibly for a southbound train; certainly there was no reason not to board the northbound if that was her intention. In any case, she seems to be enjoying her quiet moments of reading.
