My Other Art

Photography is not my only passion. In fact, I could say, Art is my passion.
There have been many times especially more recently when I have used oils, acrylic and
charcoal, or (rarely) watercolour as a youngster, to quickly sketch a subject - mainly landscape,
buildings, and the figure, or to create a more substantial piece over time. I find that working
different genre is a nice change, and a good discipline for creating composition and light and shade.
But there are times when a notepad and pen are sufficient to jot down a few thoughts - forming some order in the chaos.

I have also used Polaroid for image transfer and image lift. One of my other 'projects' is
palladium contact prints at 8x10 size - from digital negatives. And It's about time I used
Coffee and Washing Soda again! ;-)

And, as you will see, printmaking via intaglio (etching) and solar photogravure also capture my interest.

This gallery leaves me both pleasantly surprised and impressed. I'm still stuck at attempting to draw a good stick figure and 3D boxes ;) These drawings clearly show that you're talented beyond when you're behind the camera. I find your depiction of the dunny pleasing, interesting, informative and perhaps most important.. fun.
