Meanwhile out in the Jungle

Opened the back door and this beautiful Jane
was swinging from the frame at about eye level.
Caught playing Tarzan, she was as surprised as I was.
I put down the box I had in my hands and
pulled out the camera I just happened to have in my pocket.
She was really nervous, but I had to work fast in case
my wife showed up and wondered
why I was oddly leaning in on the door!.
Sometimes as photographers we appear different.
A nice way to say appear silly don’t you think?
It beats talking about politics where people prove
they are no matter what they say or side they come down on.
Anyway I picked her off the door with a broom and dropped her
out in a pot of dead flowers just outside the mud porch.
That’s okay!
She’ll be back!
She likes me!
I could see it in her eyes…

Cool portrait. I like the details and the catch light in her eyes. You sure are right about politics.

She is beautiful, a very lovely little Jumping Spider which for me, are always a pleasure to see. You got a great shot. I am glad you helped her outside and hope you'll see her again. V

Excellent! I don't know, are you sure you want her to come back? She might get to liking you too much. :)

Very pretty and scary too. Is it poisonous? You are brave, John. V.
