Built covers for the raised beds because the chard, beets, onions, garlic
get slammed by rain, snow, freeze, and thaw in our wonderful “mild” northwest winter.
They would get weather beaten to the point of being inedible
but the slugs and worms were okay with it.
Had not looked in this bed for over a month because
we were getting veggies from other sources.
I was kind of surprised and happy to see it doing so well.
