20050807 / e

Fort Ord, CA

I wanna be the light that burns out your eyes
`cause I know there's little things about me
that would sing in the silence of so much rejection
in every connection I make
I can't find nobody home

I wanna be the last thing you hear when you're falling asleep....

Now I want to listen to a track called "Crispy Bacon" by Laurent Garnier. Download it (legally - that's for all you corporate lawyer spies) and see why. This is a very cool picture.

rather a grim image but conveys the mood well.

Great shot. Wonderful composition

I like the composition...looks like some kind of robot.

Reminds of the feeding tubes in The Matrix. Cool shot

yeah the buzz of all that power was scary when we were kids.some of the more stopid ones among the gang climbed the power tower part way on a dare.and then there was buddy who tossed his metal ski up and across the wires just to see what would happen. And then there was the time that my metallic mylar kite landed on one of those giant capacitor type barrels on a pole.talk about a blinding flash.'lectricity is spooky stuff man.never know when it's gonna get ya.
you are really honing in on this stark B&W tones lately.very edgey bite.cool !

Looks like a classic Flash Gordon still. Nice mix of shapes and form here, I like the open space around the base of all the clutter

So much power!
There is a certain beauty in industrial facilities.

great "abstraction".

I really love your picture. I love how this appears like a mosaic of steel. The different shapes and angles are very appealing.

It's not pretty, but it's not quite as ugly as I would expect. I prefer this to a lip ring or a one inch hole in someone's ear lobe.

very nice, kinda like a silhouette

A very electrifying image.

Looks like something atop a mad scientist's laboratory ;) I like the mostly monochromatic like tones of the upper 2/3 of the structure; dds more interest to the geometric shapes and lines.

I see caged mutant insects - their heads straining upward as they struggle to break free and wreak havoc on some city where they can smash people with their huge dragging legs.
I've creeped myself out.. :P
very cool.. I like how you've made this so NOT what it is with your composition.

Mankind sure creates the most un-natural looking things. If you didn't know anything about hydro-electric power, you'd wonder what the heck this is. Good eye Chris.

Interesting point of view. I like all the silhouettes
