"in need of repair, may need some modernisation"

these 2 cottages were up for sale,
the cottage on the left suffered alot of damage from a fire
as you can see by the black roof beams
and the one next door suffered a wee bit too,
The roof on the left had collapsed from the damage.
When the 2 properties were sold there was actually a roof on the right side
but the new owner has stripped it all out it seems,
who knows what he/she's going to do with them...
