Now belonging to the National Trust S.A. the garden was developed by the Cornish family who moved into the house and garden during 1940. The Adelaide Hills Branch of the Australian Camellia Research Society now care and maintain the garden with help from voluntary and paid part-time gardeners. The Aldgate creek can be seen in some of the photos.
