I usually start my day by walking around the rose garden, and if it is an overcast
day I take a few photos with my phone and make a collage - this has only been since
I was given this fancy phone that takes photos! :)
Here we have a tall growing rose called Tiffany with fewer petals than she normally
has in spring and the soft red rose is General Gallieni who is fairly new in the
garden, although an oldie (from 1899). I remember seeing this in full bloom back in 1996 when
I stayed in Sydney for the International Sydney Piano competitions and always intended
adding it somewhere in my garden. It has been slow growing so far, but this year
has taken off, so I'm looking forward to seeing it getting to look like the one I
saw all those years ago in the Sydney Botanic Gardens.
