This four are in the same area in the garden. Top left is American Heritage, one of the tallest growers in my garden
and was featured in yesterday's photo of the day towering over General Gallieni. This could be the first time I've taken
a photo of this rose, the blooms are carried in mid-air, out of my reach, but I now have a device that I can pull the
cane down to my level and reach these high blooms - handy for dead-heading too. The other roses featured here are Dove (palest),
Anne Boleyn and the rose that blends in well with AH, Woburn Abbey, who also resides at the feet of this very tall rose bush.
We've been having some delightfully cool weather and my roses are responding - not all, but some of them.
