Our red camellia
We only have 3 camellias left growing in our yard... and this time of year
this one consistently rewards us with a delightful display of blooms.

First for the season
First flower on this particular camellia bush, but not our first camellia to flower - we have
2 red camellias going flat strap at the moment - you'll see a photo of them when I get to
take a reasonable shot of them.

Have been given a handy link with heaps of photos of camellias and have
sorted out that this is definitely MOSHIO.

Moshio
This camellia seems to be flowering a lot earlier than usual
this year - maybe because we've had the coldest May for 100
years? I had a discussion with my plants guru and he thinks this
is Moshio not Wildfire.
