Okazaki 岡崎

Birthplace of Tokugawa Ieyasu, home of the rich hatchō miso paste, and one of the most important cities in Aichi-ken's Mikawa area. Okazaki is regionally famed for its summer fireworks festival and springtime cherry blossoms, the latter being what brought me to visit in April 2008.
