Hotaka 穂高

A small mountain town now merged into greater Azumino city in Nagano Prefecture, Hotaka is most famous for its Dai-Ō Wasabi-nōjo - Japan's largest wasabi (Japanese horseradish) farm. Also pictured here is a bit of scenery around Kizaki-ko, a freshwater lake further north of town.
