Open both images in PS. They are different images, BTW.
Activate the image taken with flash and dupe the Background.
On this new layer, apply Match Color using the image without flash as the source.
Adjust the layer's opacity to taste.
Shadow/Highlight tool.
Curves Adjustment Layer to get it just right.
Cloning and Healing of the cord on the wall.
