Superstocker (sold)

Although I haven't played stock class since the early 90's, the past few years as my interest in the high end has waned, my thought to pick up something stock class has grown as I frequently play pump. I had been looking to have a stock class sniper built, but to do it properly required specialized work and it’s just never happened. Although stock feed snipers are showing up more frequently on the market, very few of them are set up to actually be efficient. The same springing and setup that makes a cocker low pressure is exactly wrong for stock class play. For a stock classer, you need high pressure and minimum expansion room. Unless you are willing to take serious measures to set them up, stock class snipers won't live up to their potential.

With Spring Pump Day approaching and my moving reimbursement finally moving along, I was looking for something new to take when I stumbled across this Superstocker on Palmer's site. I have always been fond of the Sheridan design, and having already owned a phantom, I wasn't really looking for one even though they have come a long way in options (and carters are kind of pricey). Considering a Palmer or a Palmerized stock class P-series were at the top of my list, I decided to just go ahead and order it.

Well, It ended up beign a love hate relationship. Very nice gun, but I found I just couldn't get into stock class so I ended up selling it.
