http://customcockers.com/ IS NOW OPEN, gallery site and forums
PLEASE NOTE: THIS SITE IN NO WAY ENDORSES WGP/K2, THEIR PRODUCTS OR THEIR ACTIONS. THIS SITE IS TO SHOW OFF WHAT TELENTED PEOPLE HAVE BUILT AND ARE A PIECE OF PAINTBALL HISTORY THAT IS RAPIDLY FADING AWAY AND THAT I ENJOY. MANY OF THESE WERE BUILT TO OVERCOME THE DEFICIENCES OF THE STOCK COCKER AND ARE THE WORK OF THE TRUE INNOVATORS BEHIND THE ULTIMATE SUCCESS OF THE COCKER.
Since I first started playing I have always loved autocockers, of course it was a choice between them and mags as the high end common guns of the time, so options were limited. Regardless, I often wished to own these high end cockers, and I find that I enjoy no other gun as much. I find modern paintball equipment pretty boring, the craftsmanship and skill to bring the maximum out of a gun are now determined by a microchip.
With the latest actions by K2/WGP and their claims, I must stress that this site is in not so much a homage to the Orr's and WGP as a company, this site is if anything a tribute to the artists like Danny Love, Mark Davis and Keith Belsey who took the primitive and bulky autococker and created the technology and techniques that made the autococker so popular.
I am especially looking for these cockers:
Belsales Predator
Palmer Cocker w/slider
Bonebrake with matching slider
AKA Black Widow
anything else interesting
