First light with my STL-11000M. This is a 36 minute (12x3m) exposure of M31 taken around 1AM on September 27th, 2006. The telescope is an FS-78 without a field flattener. Even with the image cropped slightly, you can still see obvious field curvature at the corners. The STL-11000 has a 24mmx36mm CCD (the same size as 35mm film), which pushes the limits of the telescope's ability to illuminate the frame. Before calibrating, the raw images have about a 30% difference in illumination between the centre and edge.
