The osprey allowed the small crowd of onlookers to see and photograph its feeding behaviour.






At times it seemed to try to fly off with the fish. However, either the fish was still too heavy or the osprey still too weak after its swim.

It continued eating in peace and quiet until uninvited 'guests' appeared.
