Resting with its hard-earned meal.




It shook many times trying to dry off after its long swim to shore.




It tried to take off several times in an effort to take its meal away but couldn't.





By this time a small group of beach-walkers had gathered to watch the event.
However, the osprey was unfazed and settled in to eat the fish.
