Flames of Fury:
The death of two school girls due to an accident with an American army vehicle on June 13th 2002 led to a huge public outcry in South Korea.
Here we see one of many vigils which took place in Seoul, and to which typical North Korean terms and images are added. Such as the slogan, “Let us, our enemy the American “Dog” who have mowed down our comrades, pay back”.
In the center a teenage girl in school uniform, who sets fire to a doll of George W Bush. In addition to grief, determination and anger are expressed in her looks.
