The liberation of Seoul by North Korean troops a few days after the onset of the Korean war is shown here as a triumphal entry.
The population cheers the troops and throw flowers to them.
Waving banners with texts everywhere.
One of them is reading: “Long live the visionary General Kim il-sung".
Another banner announces patriotic boys and girls signing up as volunteers.
All this takes place in front of the former Japanese Government building in the Centre of Seoul.

A very good impression of the size of the painting.
