Turbulent river emits an almost audible roar as it begins its downhill run through the autumnal foliage. Beautiful image! V

Oh, Irene.
The range of colours here are astounding. The foreground colours, as they turn from a lemony green to the warmer tones of Autumn, the blue and grey distant mountain, and that pale, cold, fast-flowing river... just perfect.
And I particularly like the shadows on the trunks of the trees.
I am sure you and your sister enjoyed your walk in this Wonderland.
