Waterloo Battle Ground

The Battle of Waterloo was fought on 18 June 1815 near the village of Waterloo in present-day Belgium, about 15 km south of Brussels. It was the decisive battle that ended the rule of Napoleon Bonaparte and brought an end to the Napoleonic Wars.
