I've had a long-time interest in photography, dating back to my first Olympus OM-1 in the late 70's. Moving to digital mode with the Olympus E-10 really got me into this hobby. An upgrade to a Canon EOS 10D was pretty expensive (yikes - the price of those lenses!), but gave me the opportunity to do lots more with this challenging hobby. Technology marches along - sold the 10D and got the 20D model in March 2005 - much faster, more pixels, blah, blah, blah. But it IS better!!

Well, the 20D is history and I got a 40D back in October of 2007. Very nice camera, love that remote live view facility for doing my eBay stamp photography! Now they have a 50D coming out - hmmmmm.....

Guess it had to happen - picked up a 50D in mid January 2009 - technology marches on! And believe it or not, it was well worth the money to upgrade from the 40D. Very fast, more megapixels, and the new Remote Live View and software makes my eBay postage stamp business a LOT more productive.

Well, the 50D was a really nice camera, but when I saw the 7D, I was hooked! Got the 7D in January of 2010 and am loving it.
