Desolation Wilderness / Island Lake, Twin Lakes Sept 25, 2009
Short hike from Wright's Lake into the west side of Desolation Wilderness, past Twin Lakes, up to Boomerang and Island Lakes. My first hike in the woods since breaking my hip skiing this past January.
FYI: Wright's Lake is about six miles off of US Hwy 50, five miles east of Kyburz, CA.
