Maybe not the street, but the highways are paved of gold in Bangkok! And there is a superb plit between upper (literally) BKK and the street level one, bottom right, with one-story houses/shopd and what I believe could be construction workers shacks with their undulating tin roofs. And everyone but the cars has the BKK blues.... ;-)
