This letter is from my sister, Marilyn Sleeper, Pat's mother, December 31, 2009:
To all you Venice immortals, surfers, friends, and many girlfriends of my son, Pat Sleeper:
Pat's sudden death was on April 29, 2001. I posted his demise at the Venice, California Free Clinic and also the beach newspaper, The Easy Reader.
Pat's ashes are all over the best place - the Venice breakwater. I did it.

Hi.....I am Pat's aunt and just sent a copy of Pat's photo's to his mother, Marilyn. She is thrilled and has written a wonderful letter to all of Pat's friends and would like them to receive it.
