Hi Mickey he was one of the best people I ever knew and he will never be forgotten. One time I was wearing red sweat pants and he said "I never want to see you in those ever again!" He was teasing me because he reminded me that I said that to him before. Mr. POP. Rest in peace.

Hi,
I know what you mean about my uncle, I miss him so much everyday. I miss his love, his wisdom, how much he enjoyed living each day and most of all his hugs. Kevin was such an amazing man and I miss him every day. As far as his headstone, I think only a couple of us in the family really knew how much P.O.P meant to him. Grandma only knew how much he loved to camp when we would have family camping trips. I am very proud to be his niece.

Right after he passed away and his friend told us all to take a peice of something from his silent apartment, I could have sworn I saw many of these collages in frames (this makes me feel so sad again...) and his photo albums, his P.O.P. pictures, (sigh) and his empty bed. I ended up taking a surf shirt of his that I remember him always wearing and it smelled like after shave. I still pass his old apartment and see the surf board hanging outside of his patio where he would promise me we'd have a party "soon" and then he was gone... Doug Irvine sent me a photo of his gravestone with a, I think has a forest scene on it. It should have had a P.O.P. seahorse just like the tattoo he had on his arm. True he loved to go camping but he mostly loved the beach the best.
I miss his personality, his funny hand gestures when he was trying to explain something to me. He loved to make me laugh. I'll never forget his bushy mustache with his big huge smile.
I don't know how this collage came into being. This was on the same negative strip as the party line-up:http://www.pbase.com/venicepix/image/44829454 in which he appears , top right, so I'm assuming that he asked me to take copy photos of both.
