A lesson soon to be learned

Ibis California Route 66

This isn't really a real bonehead shot but it could of been. This telephoto shot truly doesn't show a clear picture of the incident. The truck and camping trailer has slowly inched it self closer to the crossing waiting for the stack train in the right of the photo to clear the crossing and the resulting raising of the gates.
But unknown to the driver even with the sign saying double trackage he never looks to his left and is surprised when this orange giant lets loose it's horn and approaches from behind and to his left stopping him and his trailer in it's tracks.
Always be patience at a grade crossing you never know what will come by next.

Always Look, listen and live when near and around grade crossings and railroad right of ways.
