Many years ago I drove across Canada and remember the storm front I saw moving across the plains. It really is amazing to see them take on an angry life of their own. One almost wants to crouch in fear as theese front roll towards you with a very defining edge. Literally like a dark angry wave.

That's what this shot brought back to mind. While much more timid than the sky I describe above this is pretty much what it looked like before the main front roared in like a freight train. I like the way it contrasts the structure and the apparent nice exposure it provided.

These elevators are not the most aerodynamic of structures and sometimes I wonder just how they bear up as well as they do. Or perhaps there are many collapses I simply don't hear about down here in the states. Then again I'd imagine a full, or even partly full, load of grain makes for a great anchor.

I love the sky in this photo Glenn, and the sharp contrast between grass, elevator, and sky makes for a very dramatic scene.

I would love to have some real weather like this for a change of pace.
This is excellent Glenn. I admire your country side and you skills to capture what you see so well!
