Gary R.

A storm wave breaks in the distance as a fishing boat prepares to leave Morro Bay harbor.
You can't see the harbor patrol boat behind him, helping him watch for a break in the 20 foot waves to get out the hazardous harbor entrance.
Note the stabilizers or "flopperstoppers" hanging from the two poles; they're going to need them.

Thanks for all the nice comments. This was not with the B300,it was very misty and I was pushing it to get this...the uzi could 'see' better than I could. This is one of those conicidences...the storm, sunlight, and the wave was a surprise bonus that came along just at the right time.

As usual, you've outdone yourself. Your walls must be filled with photos. This has interest, mood, and feel...with the wave(!, the threatening sky, and the name of the boat - it's great! Was this with B-300? Tripod?

I thought I had left a message earlier. Gary you have one great picture here, the lonely boat looking at those awesome waves. But what really puts it over the top is the lighting. This should definitely be up on your wall or better yet my wall!! Rich

Great picture, boy would I be sea sick on that boat!

Besides just thinking this is an overall great picture, I really like the way the sky looks, brightening up in the upper
corner.

I too thought of the movie "The Perfect Storm". And we complain about having a bad day, how'd you like to go through that just to GET to your job! Great shot.
