This huge spider has taken up residence beside my porch light and I am fascinated with her! Here she's about to have dinner. Or is it a he?

We have these too, but then you aren't that far from me if I remember correctly :-).
Great shot, Janet... very clear and sharp and really like the capture of that zig zag too.... oh, yeah, and dinner, yum :-).

JUST fond one of these at my place in Ohio, took a shot, but want to get a bit closer. Mine's not quite as colorful. Was going to look it up, but didn't have time.

Do you know what kind of spider it is. I don't think we have this type of spider in MN - Looks like it is a very big spider and colorful too. Great shot!!
