Tony Dalton

This is a scene of the very diverse and proud community of Whitney Pier.
A steel mill operated for approximately one hundred years in this area and at
times employed several thousand people from many countries. Prior to it being
dismantled over the past few years, it covered several kilometres along the
background area of this photo. http://www.pbase.com/carterdog

So many elements in one picture with the muted tones of winter.
The white pulls it all together. I think its a great picture.

Mr. A.D.
My brother turned me on to the PBase family of "photoists", as I like to call us. And, yours are some of the best. All I know of C.B. is from the ebullient, Vikki Gabereau. Seeing this picture, and then the rest of your gallery, made me realize two things: you're both right. What an Isle !
I have some questions about Sydney, and the Cape's music. As I've already taken up to much space; would you consider e-mailing me back ?
Keep up the good shoots,
Gus
