Very unusual, very artistic photo. Great work.

Wow!! This is an awesome photo... I would have never guessed that it was a daytime shot...

Not a composite. The sun is that bright. The fog causes the dark shadows. All I did was resize it.

Great picture Steve.

The shutter speed is puzzling me though. It's a pretty dark setting yet the exif show 1/1149 at F8?? Did you composite a couple of images to create this great effect?

Reason I ask is that my potw was a shot directly into the setting sun and came out at 1/500 at F6.3

This is the kinda shot people get int auto accidents when trying to get to the spot to snap the pic. You must be a good driver too.. ;-) You should be entering this in every contest on the planet...

Wow! This is one of the best shots I've ever seen!!! Seriously, WOW!!!

This is a jaw-droppingly gorgeous image - it would make a good poster. (So nice that you could nail your "best image of 2003 so early in the year!)

This is so eerily beautiful. I love fog photos and this one is spectacular.

Nicely done Steve!
Mother Nature can provide us with great subjects and you did a great job capturing one of them.

Very nice and quite intriguing. Great play of light & dark, kind of like schizophrenia.

Really nice, Steve, you caught everything just right. Looks like the fog helped both of us this week. I'm assuming that's the sun back there, from the exposure setting, but it has the mood of a nighttime shot.

Dynamite image,Steve, really! It's so atmospheric, almost surreal. Amazing!

Hi Steve, nice picture with dark atmosphere. I noticed the shutter speed and I was surprised because I didn't know the uzi could shoot faster than 1/1000... it seems that every day there is something new to learn. Thanks and regards!
Pablo.
