Keith Hatfull

Woodbury, MN

Quick shot of my daughter Heather while testing the new flash and Lumiquest Promax system diffuser.
Not bad for a quickie I thought. Just a bit of levels to lighten it a tad, I forgot to set the flash compensation where I wanted it.
Otherwise, it's right out of the camera except for resize.
Nice not having redeye for a change. -Keith

This is SUCH a great photo --- she's not "posing," the lighting is nicely done, and she's adorable to boot!

Super Photo and Beautiful Little girl. Look like a studio photo to me!

Thanks for the nice comments. Actually, I'd attribute it all to the flash and diffuser and catching that wry little smile at the right time...the vast majority of the 60 or so I took were just icky...oddly enough this one came near the end when she had had about enough ;-). This is totally flash exposed...the only other light on in the room as a 14W flourescent desk lamp, just enough light for me to see through the viewfinder. Note the huge pupils ;-) -Keith

Amazing portrait shot. If this is a quick shot, I bet we would all want to see what your final ones will be.

Fantastic! And straight out of the camera.
Who needs photo studios anymore?
I love it!

That is about the same setup I am using but it appears you got it right, out of the box. Good shot.
