Had a check-up at the handsurgeon today.
First time I see my hand after the surgery December 20.
They cut it open in more places than I thought.
But I scar very well, so I donīt think there will be more than thin white lines in a year or so.
January 19 Iīll get rid of the plastersplint, then I get one of those custom made plastic splints.
I can take it off and exercise the thumb but have to wear it rest of the time.

And no strain on the new tendon three MONTHS after surgery.
ītill end of March or so...
And Iīm still on the anti coagulant shots, the pk-levels donīt get up as fast as they thought.
They were lower yesterday than last Thursday.
Seems like Iīm one of those who needs lots of Warfarin.
