Usually dark in the middle with golden petals, coreopsis can fill fields with sunshine as they wave in the breeze. The coreopsis is one of my favorite Texas wildflowers, as the bloom from spring into summer and can actually stick around a long time. They are a favorite of the butterfly, and add color to any Texas Hill Country landscape
