Silk Route(s) in Xinjiang Province - China's Far West

Cities and sights along the Silk Routes in China - Dunhuang, Turfan, Heaven Lake, Kashgar, Yarkand, Hotan and the Karakoram Highway up to the Khunjerab Pass. This is a selection of not only good photos but also of photos that give an insight into the area in which I travelled. Great galleries and pictures on Xinjiang. Enjoyed viewing them. I have also just returned from a week-long trip to Xinjiang, but covering only Urumqi & Turpan. Cheers.
