Fiddling on the Roof : Replacing the conduit on the roof of an Athearn RTR ATSF GP40X

I just could not stand the sight of that RTR-provided power conduit for the A/C which was perfect for 1974-75 EMD production. However, this arrangement is totally incorrect for post-1977 A/C-equipped deliveries from EMD such as this as-delivered ATSF GP40X. So I replaced the existing conduit with a proper radio conduit that needed to go to the antenna ground plane, and repositioned the A/C unit slightly per prototype. Not a perfect install, but with a little paint and weathering, it'll work. And yes, the beacon will get reinstalled once everything gets painted.

I used .010 phosphor-bronze wire for the conduit and supports. I'm not a big fan of using lift rings to support the conduits, as it looks way too bulky when compared against prototype photos.
