A friend at work loaned me his 550ex Flash so I have been playing with it for the last few days. I like it much better than the 380ex I own. Perhaps it is time to upgrade?

Can't decide which image stays and which one's go to the extra's gallery.

Judging by the exposure I see what you mean - I too have a bit of problem with my 380EX
Well done.

I love this one! :) This guy looks so jolly! And the trickle of the tree needle on his big nose, makes it seem like he's being tickled and will sneeze at any moment :)

This one gets my vote Tony... enjoy the 550EX while you can, you won't want to give it back though!

I prefer this one. I like the sharpness of the focus, and the detail in his beard. Also, I think he's cute, peeking out from behind that branch!
