On my way home from Ray and Sandra's. Awesome view and Sunset!!!

Two years ago today I was diagnosed with Cancer. I went in for minor surgery and came out with Cancer. I endured 40 days of treatment where my head and neck were radiated. Towards the end of these treatments all I kept saying was “ I just want my life back.”

Today is my second birthday, my “Carpe a diem” day. I chose to do hard physical work today. Ya, I could have walked on the beach, had a beer but I wanted to feel alive! Hard physical work let me know just how lucky I am… I got my life back….

In January I will be putting up a gallery with my Cancer survival story. I saw my oncologist who gave me permission to shoot in the radiation chamber. Stay tuned…..

You said that one day you would give an explanation for this picture - and now, I understand. Congratulations, Tony - not only on reaching your second birthday, but on your courageous, determined spirit. You're an inspiration to us all - and this remarkably beautiful photo barely scratches the surface.
