This morning I awoke to a world on fire, mine. This is the view from my driveway earlier this morning. The other pictures are looking to the north about 5 miles away. At this hour(9 pm)it is still burning out of control to the north. The fire is from North Escondido to the Mexican Border. To my South about 5 miles away in Poway and Rancho Bernardo I can see flames there too. My truck and van are packed and we are ready to leave. It will be a very long night. No sleep for me.
