Berlin (1971)

... all photos are scanned from slides so forgive the quality. These shots of Berlin were taken about 8 years after The Wall went up and tensions were high. Life on one side of The Wall was bright and full of hope while, on the other side, it was drab and gray.

Excellent portrait of an era which has ended! A lot has changed since the wall went down, but in the heads of many it still exits today. A new generation is needed to make the past forgotten forever. Your images are a good portrait of that time I do remember well. V.
