Sierra Nevada Nature 2006

From June 24 to July 3 twelve of us from the Massachusetts Butterfly Club went to the Sierra Nevadas and surrounding areas in California and Nevada to take a week long butterfly course and field trips with Paul Opler and Evi Buckner-Opler. Paul is one of the foremost authorities on butterflies in North America, and his wife Evi is an outstanding nature photographer, and a great organizer.
This gallery will have a good assortment of most of the things in nature we observed, and a few of the other participants.

Hi Tom, I finally have a new computer, and we also are able to download faster now than with the old phone lines... so, voila: I got to see your wonderful images from the CA class last year... GREAT!!!
