25-27 April 2008: Spent the Anzac Day Long Weekend doing the Mt Magdala-Crosscut Saw Circuit with the YHA Bushwalking Club. We climbed up the steep Helicopter Spur on the first day, went to Picture Point, over Mt Magdala and camped at Hell Fire Creek. Next day, we did the classic Crosscut Saw from Mt Howitt to Mt Speculation where we camped. Overnight, rain then 50mm of snow came down and changed the last day of the walk into an early snow walk in the Australian Alps.
