22-23 July 2006: Joined a group of fellow hikers from YHA Bushwalking Club on a snowcamping trip to Mount Feathertop. We traversed up the gradually graded Bungalow Spur on Day 1, set up camp at Fedearation Hut and summited Mt Feathertop in the afternoon. The weather was not that clear on Saturday but was quite good on Day 2 when we summited again in the morning.

Overall, there was less snow than previous year but the views were better, especially on Day 2 of the trip. Great fun going up and down the summit with an ice axe!
