Crawton lavas and conglomerate

It might not be much to get excited about for most but these are some stunning lavas with overlying Lower Old Red Sandstone conglomerates. All I need is some decent wave action!

strong comp and great colour in the sandstone..yes some bigger splashes might have been more dramatic, yet the long exposure does imbue a sense of motion in the sea...the lava rocks are reminiscent of the seashore on Easter Island...V
