Dawn Chorus - its not quite the same!

Sunday's chores included cutting the grass, not a favourite task of mine and a waste of good photography time to my mind. However an opportunity arose on my second trip to the compost heap with the cuttings, some exotic fauna had taken roost. He and his harem of three have taken up residence in the area and in truth are a perishing nuisance making an unbelievable racket. I am amazed they haven't ended up on a barbecue yet!

They do have rather a creepy way of calling, sometimes all night!! Nice shot of this one roosting on the compost.
