This little patch of woodland (on my route to work) came alive last Tuesday as it did last year with a mat of white Wood Anenomes apart from a little purple patch. We all have a little purple patches now and again! This Sunday as I was delicately picking my way out of the woodland onto the road a car pulled up and the driver stuck his head out and said 'I am glad someone is photographing it' on further discussion about how beautiful it is, it turns out he owns the woodland, lucky beggar!
