This photograph was made at the Agusan Marsh as we rode a pump boat amidst the thick mist. The sunrise behind the fogs alone was so awesome that I must have taken half a dozen shots. Framing the sun in lush vegetation, which happened by sheer luck because of the fast moving pump boat, made the sunrise even more glorious. I covered the marshland as a writer (I was with photographer Nico Sepe of BusinessWorld) but I couldn’t help taking pictures. It was the first test-drive of my newly acquired (although second hand) digicam.
