Grey Face

Our native wildlife has had an extremely difficult year.
These fruit bats have struggled and are endangered.
On a particularly hot weekend, the bats came out of the canopy and roosted much lower than normal.
This little one is panting, showing signs of stress.
Luckily our local Council has installed a sprinkler systems to assist these delightful, propagators.

Thanks, Sally. We are lucky to live so close to them.
I love sitting on the veranda watching their antics and listening to their chatter.
Hope you are safe and well.

This is a wonderful closeup shot Elaine.
it has been a terrible year for the birds and animals'
I watched a documentary and learnt that they even give birth upside down.
They are amazing little creatures.

Dear Terry, Thank you for your compliments.
The fruit bats are in 'my front yard'.....just metres away in a wetland reserve.
I hear them constantly and watch them with fascination continually.

Great capture, Elaine. They certainly are appealing. All our wildlife seem to be in trouble. So glad
your Council has taken steps to help.
